...is an ever evolving and growing entity in my room. It's my favorite thing to look at and change up in my space as well. I'm constantly reorganizing and adding to my bookshelf that it changes its appearance weekly. I currently have five shelves filled with books. I know that's not a lot to some, but to me it's more than I've ever had before. I never used to be an avid reader, but during winter break my freshmen year of college, everything changed. I was bored, so I picked up a book and I haven't stopped. At that time, I had about fifteen books. Now, a year and half later, I own over a hundred physical books and countless ebooks. It's an addiction, but it's not the worst thing I could be addicted to! Right!? :) ;) My books used to be strictly organized by publisher, with a few randoms squeezed in here and there. I recently rearranged my bedroom and decided to add to my bookshelf too. I added four new shelves to an old doorway that separates two bedrooms in my house. And I was able too fit all my books except, a few that I wanted to display on my old bookshelf (let me know if you want to see them!), on these new shelves. They're quite a few inches longer than my other set of shelves, so I'm able to fit more and still have some room to make additions!! I didn't just want my books to be on the shelf. I wanted them to be displayed on my shelves. You'll notice what I mean as you read on, but I'm really liking the way it's turned out! I still have some tweaking that I'll need to do when some books that I've ordered come in. And of course, I'll probably decide in a week or so that I don't like them anymore and will move them around again. I do keep most of my new adult and adult books together and my YA books together, but there are a few that got put where they fit. So, let's segue to the actual shelves now!!
